Dr. Ratanshi sees patients in his office or other facilities depending on the concern being addressed. In order to help his patients better access operative time for surgery, he performs surgery at a multiple accredited facilities and hospital sites.
Dr. Ratanshi’s Main Office
Our beautiful clinic is located on the 3rd floor (unit 301) in the City Centre 1 building 13737 96 Avenue) at the corner of 96 Avenue and 137 Street in Surrey, British Columbia (across the street from Surrey Memorial Hospital).
PARKING AT CITY CENTRE 1: There is ample underground public pay parking in City Centre 1. The parking entrance is accessible from 137 Street.
Valley Surgical Centre
Dr. Ratanshi performs private surgery, breast surgery under MSP, and surgeries for WorkSafe BC at Valley Surgical Centre. This multi-specialty, state-of-the-art surgical center is located at 14439 104 Avenue in Surrey, British Columbia (take elevator to 3rd floor). It is fully accredited by the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia. There is ample parking behind the building for pick-up and drop-off. Patients check in at the main desk 1-1.5 hours before their scheduled surgery time. You must have an adult pick you up and be available to attend to you and stay with you overnight if you are receiving sedation or a general anesthetic. You are not permitted to leave in a taxi. Failure to arrange the above may result in cancellation of your surgery.
Jim Pattison Outpatient Care And Surgical Centre
Dr. Ratanshi sees consultations at the Jim Pattison Outpatient Care & Surgical Centre (JPOCSC) at 9750 140 Street in Surrey, BC. Clinics are located on the second and third floor. Please check in for your visit the second floor in Area 2A. X-Ray is available on site and may be ordered as part of your visit. Please check in 15-30 minutes before your appointment.
Please note that our Plastic Surgery Emergency Clinic can be very busy. Please allow for at least 2 hours of parking. If you register, you will be seen with very few exceptions.
Surgeries performed under local anesthesia take place on the 4th floor in an area called Ambulatory Day Care. Please check in at the main desk on the 4th floor 30 minutes prior to your appointment. Please ensure you are accompanied by an adult and do not drive yourself.
Surgeries performed in the main operating room also take place on the 4th floor. Please check in at the main desk 1.5-2 hours ahead of your surgery time. You must have an adult pick you up and be available to attend to you and stay with you overnight if you are receiving sedation or a general anesthetic. You are not permitted to leave in a taxi. Failure to arrange the above may result in cancellation of your surgery.
PARKING AT JPOCSC: Outdoor and underground public pay parking is available.
Surrey Memorial Hospital
Dr. Ratanshi performs surgeries in the main operating room at Surrey Memorial Hospital. This is the primary site for autologous (DIEP) breast reconstruction. If you have scheduled surgery here, please check in on the first floor at Surgical Day Care. This can be accessed using the elevator from the South Parkade. Surgeries performed under local anesthesia take place on main (2nd floor) in an area called Ambulatory Day Care. This is near the North entrance. Please check in at the main desk 30 minutes prior to your appointment. Please ensure you are accompanied by an adult and do not drive yourself.
Royal Columbian Hospital
Dr. Ratanshi performs urgent and emergent surgeries at the Royal Columbian Hospital. If you have urgent surgery booked at this hospital, please present to Surgical Day Care 2 hours before your scheduled surgery time. You must have an adult pick you up and be available to attend to you and stay with you overnight if you are receiving sedation or a general anesthetic. You are not permitted to leave in a taxi. Failure to arrange the above may result in cancellation of your surgery. Some parking may be available below the main hospital on parking level P1 to aid in pick-up and drop-off.
Eagle Ridge Hospital & Peace Arch Hospital
Dr. Ratanshi retains privileges and occasionally performs surgery at these hospital sites.
