Your skin can form a variety of undesirable moles, lumps & bumps that can catch the eye. The vast majority are not cancerous. Nevertheless, it is important to have these assessed by a Primary Care Provider, particularly if you have noticed any lesion that has suddenly developed, changing or experiencing rapid growth. If there is concern, your Primary Care Provider may recommend that the lesion should be sampled with a biopsy or that an ultrasound or other imaging should be ordered to evaluate a mass felt below the skin and not visible externally. If you wish to have an unsightly lesion removed for cosmetic reasons that is known to be benign, you may self-refer for a private consultation for our Surrey benign lesion removal with Dr. Ratanshi.
